Good design is easy to understand and easy to use, and this floor lamp by Luci is proof. The chromed light diffusers slide up and down the two chromed rods onto which they are affixed via plastic elements. The telephone chord-like wires encourage the user to try out different settings and move the lamps about without worrying they might break something. So far so good. Aside from design, there's the second relevant part that goes into these items - the manufacturing, something Luci Italia excels in. Starting from the matte black metal base, up the chrome-plated aluminium rods, through sturdy black plastic to the chrome-plated light diffusers, everything is quality made.
