Refund policy

At SORTER, we take pride in offering a unique selection of curated vintage furniture and home decor. Due to the nature of vintage items, we generally do not accept returns or offer refunds. However, we understand that certain situations may warrant exceptions. Please read the following policy carefully:

1. Final Sale Policy
All vintage and one-of-a-kind items sold by SORTER are final sale. As each piece is carefully selected for its uniqueness and may exhibit wear consistent with its age, we do not offer refunds or exchanges based on the condition of the item.

2. Exceptions for Damaged Goods
If your item arrives damaged due to shipping, we will work with you to resolve the issue. Please follow these steps:

Notify Us Promptly: Contact us at sortergallery@gmail.com within 48 hours of receiving the item. Include your order number and a detailed description of the damage.
Provide Documentation: Attach clear photographs of the damaged item, including the packaging, to help us assess the situation.
Resolution: Once we review the damage, we may offer a replacement (if available), a repair, or a refund. If a refund is issued, it will be processed to your original method of payment.
3. Order Cancellations
Cancellations of orders are only allowed if requested before the item has been shipped. Please contact us at sortergallery@gmail.com as soon as possible to request a cancellation. If your order has already been shipped, the sale is final.

4. Non-Refundable Items
The following items are non-refundable under any circumstances:

Gift cards
Custom or special orders
Items sold as part of a clearance sale

5. Refund Processing

In accordance to EU law, the customer has 14 days to return any purchased item.
If you are approved for a refund due to a damaged item or any other exceptional circumstance:

Refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 7-10 business days of approval.
You will be notified via email once your refund has been processed.
Please note that your bank or payment provider may take additional time to post the refund to your account.

6. Return Shipping
In the rare event that we request a return of a damaged item:

We will provide you with instructions for returning the item.
You may be responsible for return shipping costs unless otherwise stated by SORTER.
Items must be returned in the original packaging or equivalent to prevent further damage during transit.
