Adjustable rotating side table by Arredamenti Allegri, Italy, 1970s

Some call it a TV stand, others call it a side table; all we know for sure is that you can freely adjust the height and rotation of this wonderful piece. Made in Parma by Arredamenti Allegri about half a century ago, this piece of design's age is not showing, as it stands in perfect condition. The top consists of two glass plates set upon a metal frame with rounded corners, which in turn stands upon a telescopic column. The column's base is where most of the design takes place - where the four legs end in ball shapes of Space Age descent. For the top, we reckon that the designers chose a minimalistic approach in order to allow the user to freely choose its use without any outside input bearing down on his or her decision.
