This pair of beauties acts as a bridge between 1930s Bauhaus and 1980s design. The structural principle - the cantilever, and the choice of materials - bent tubular steel and leather - belong to the former, but the overall shape sends us much later in time, to a more corporate-looking design. Imagine our surprise when we found out that they are from the 1950s. Truly avant la lettre, these comfortable chairs are quite the find.
